Hello Everyone!
My name is Stephanie Samila, and I am very happy to be your child's Preschool Teacher! I have had fun teaching Pre-K for over 20 years now, and it has been the most rewarding job! As an educator, I believe that beginnings are important and that the preschool years are vital for a positive start in education. I really enjoy watching young children develop their love of learning and truly believe the early years are the most important. I am so thrilled to be a part of the Hiemeleski family as a teacher along with my wonderful para, Ms. Irlandia Mercedes. Our class is a Dual Language Classroom, and we share our weeks of learning with Seniorita Paulino and Señora Torres. Together as a team, we rotate our students to teach both English and Spanish. Our district uses the Creative Curriculum, which focuses on learning through student's social, fine motor and physical growth as well as language and cognitive skills. We enjoy working with all of our students and their wonderful families to provide a great year of learning. I look forward to an amazing school year!
