Our Soil Study

Dear Families,

Welcome to our classroom studies information page!  For the month of September, we are learning all about school!  We  continue to review our routine and work on things like sitting during carpet time, using our skills when working in centers, enjoying our playground and making new friends.  Each day we engage in our Morning Meeting, which teaches social skills, math, letter sounds and recognition as well as science when discussing the weather for the day.  In addition, we use our skills to work in centers, walk to the cafeteria, sing and dance, arts and crafts and small group learning with Ms. Stephanie.  I look forward to helping each student be their best and learn this year.  As we continue to adjust to our routine, please be patient as our students are also adapting to two classrooms, since we rotate to give instruction in both English and in Spanish.  I support this important routine and am lucky to have wonderful partners in teaching with Mrs. Irlandia, Seniorita Paulino and Sra. Torres, who are all patient, kind and caring.  I feel confident that our students will have a wonderful year of Dual Language Learning and, like the stars, they will shine bright!
