• CLASS EXPECTATIONS:

    1. Come to class on time and prepared.

    2. Put your phones away.

    3. Stay in your assigned seat.

    4. Submit your own work.

    5. Be respectful of your classmates. 

     

    PHONE POLICY:

    Phones are not allowed to be used during class time, as per the district policy. Phones must be placed in the assigned pocket at the beginning of the class. Students who do not meet this expectation will be given the following consequences:

    FIRST OFFENSE = WARNING

    SECOND OFFENSE = CONTACT HOME

    THIRD OFFENSE = WRITE UP

     

    LATE WORK POLICY:

    You can submit classwork up to two days late with no penalty. After the first two days, you will receive a five point deduction for each day late. I will not accept any late assignments after two weeks. You will receive a zero if you submit an assignment later than two weeks after the due date.

     

    PLAGIARISM POLICY

    This includes the use of AI (ChatGPT, Grammarly Sentence Rewriter, etc), copying and pasting from outside sources without citations, and using the work of your peers.

    • For the first infraction on a classwork assignment, you will receive a warning and the opportunity to resubmit your assignment.

    • For the second infraction on a classwork assignment, your guidance counselor and parent will be notified and you will receive a zero. 

    If you plagiarize on an assessment, you will receive a zero for the assignment.
