• My name is Amanda Cohen and I have been a special education teacher in Perth Amboy since  2000.     Most of those years have been in preschool in both self contained and inclusion classrooms.  I am currently a collaborative consultant at the Ignacio Cruz Early Childhood Center. I work in several classrooms, helping make sure all students are academically and socially successful, whether they have a disability or not. I assist the general education teacher by modifying materials, giving various strategies, and working directly with students as needed.
