My name is Nicole Ruisi. I am a Special Ed Teacher at Flynn School for 17 years. When I was about 9 yrs old, I knew that I wanted to teach speical ed students. One of my friends was a deaf girl and being friends I learned and gained so much respect for the Special Ed population. I have worked with children since I was 16 yrs old. I have worked in daycares, preschools and elementary schools.  

I am very involved with the Autism population. My oldest son was diagnosed at the age of 3 with Autism. My family has participated in walks, fund raisers.  

I take a very personal approach to my students. I am always trying to find ways for them to succeed academically and socially.
